AN ASSEMBLED EDGE

Viewed collectively, the public property along the downtown shore is a significant piece of land. Much of this shore will, fortunately, be in transition in the near future: the land under the Viaduct, Smith Cove (the waterfront at Interbay) and Terminal 46. Each area would typically be planned and developed separately.

If conceived collectively as a larger landscape, this new ground can host infrastructure, buildings, and ecological processes that function in synergy.
